Wednesday, 9 April, 2014. The latest release of the National Medical Readership Survey (NMRS) of GPs 2014 interim data has found that the MGP publication Guidelines has the highest GP net reach with 68% accessing the publication across print, website, and app editions.
Combined data from the NMRS postal surveys conducted between April 2013 and March 2014 show that:
- Guidelines has the highest GP reach across all platforms at 68% compared with BMJ at 65%, MIMS at 64%, Pulse at 58%, and GP at 48%
- Each edition of Guidelines is referred to by GPs on average 1.3 million times*
- Guidelines in Practice, read by GP commissioners, achieved a 26% net reach of GPs, well ahead of similar publications such as Prescriber at 15%.
MGP Managing Director Ivor Eisenstadt commented that: “These excellent readership survey results, coupled to the recent release of the Guidelines in Practice app, means that MGP offers clients the opportunity for campaigns with best GP reach, and the most payer influence.”
