On 19 March 2021 Guidelines Live was highly commended for Best Marketing Campaign Award at the Digital Event Awards.
Guidelines Live has established itself as the UK’s largest conference on clinical guidance, attracting 1000+ healthcare professionals each year, to hear expert speakers discuss the latest guidance.
In 2020, our target audience and speakers (GPs, Nurses and Pharmacists) working in primary care were more affected than most by the global pandemic. We understood their need for easily digestible clinical guidance was more pressing than ever—and pivoted our event to a virtual platform.
An innovative marketing campaign working with new and existing partners resulted in a 37% growth in attendance from the previous year. We grew our audience when UK healthcare professionals were busier than ever, illustrating how valuable our content is to healthcare professionals, and how we were able to fulfil their needs by making our event so accessible to attend. By using a fully immersive virtual platform, we made it easy for the audience to get the clinical guidance updates they need and ensured they could attend by honouring our original dates.
Our delegate engagement campaign resulted in deep levels of engagement—24,065 total views of the sessions and 9,047 booth visits across the two days.
The response from delegates was outstanding. Key metrics include: Speakers achieving an average of 95% excellent or good rating (a 10% increase from 2019), 99% of delegates would attend again, and 100% of delegates would recommend Guidelines Live to a colleague.
