11 October 2019–MGP Ltd has reached an exciting milestone as the company celebrates 25 years of promoting best practice in healthcare.

Since its inception in 1994, MGP has been dedicated to promoting best practice in healthcare and now provides healthcare professionals with multichannel content and educational projects based around clinical guidance and evidence-based information through its brands: Guidelines, Guidelines in Practice, Guidelines for Nurses, Guidelines for Pharmacy, Guidelines Live, and Specialised Commissioning.

To celebrate 25 years of success, MGP has formed a partnership with Antibiotics Research UK (ANTRUK) to fight antibiotic resistance.

Speaking about the partnership, Antibiotic Research UK’s Chief Executive, Professor Colin Garner, said:

“We are delighted to have been chosen by MGP to help them celebrate their 25th anniversary through a campaign to tackle antibiotic resistance. ANTRUK is the world’s first charity created to fight antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections through research, education, and patient support. We are thrilled that MGP will help promote our Patient Support and Information Programme with primary care audiences, which will lead to more patients knowing where they can seek help and information.”

MGP’s Managing Director and co-founder, Ivor Eisenstadt, commented that:

“The long-term success of MGP is based upon our authoritative, trusted, multichannel publications; our engaged and loyal audience of healthcare professionals; our close partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry; and, above all, our extremely talented and hard-working team. We are proud to offer these in support of ANTRUK and to address the important and pressing issue of antibiotic resistance.”
